How did I start? I took a few lessons in 2010 which gave me confidence, and I still watch demonstrations and attend occasional workshops. I believe artists can inspire each other; but practice, trial and error have been the best tutors.  I would encourage anyone interested in art to have a go - you never know what you can do until you try!

Whilst I have always enjoyed crafts from school age, I trained as a cartographer and worked at  it for many years, including drawing the plans for the M20!  I loved every minute of it, but took time out to raise a family (now all grown up).

I started painting in 2010, joining a local group and then moving on and joined the local Art Society, a great way to meet like minded people.

I do not produce prints; people buying my work know they will never see it in anybody else's house unless they have received one of my range of greeting cards!
